We appreciate it when, if you are dissatisfied with us, you discuss it with us first. When we are aware of your dissatisfaction, we can try to resolve it for you.
If you find this difficult or cannot come to an agreement with us, you can discuss your complaint with an independent and impartial complaints officer. The complaints officer will work with you to resolve your complaint or problem. The complaint officer may attempt to mediate the complaint. The complaints officer does not take sides and therefore has no judgment. Everything you tell the complaint officer is confidential. You can use the complaint form on the SKGE website (https://www.skge.nl/ portal-follow-up page/complaint). The complaints officer can be reached at telephone number 088 0229190 if necessary.
If you really can’t come to an agreement with your doctor and with mediation by the complaints officer, you can seek a ruling on your complaint from the GP Care Disputes Authority. This independent committee is made up entirely of a chairman (a (former) judge) and also of members on behalf of patients and of members on behalf of general practitioners. The committee is assisted by an official secretary (also a lawyer). The judgment of the Dispute Resolution Body is binding.
